Beta guide

How to use Ralli

No account needed. Open the link, set up your game, and play. Here's everything you need to know.

Step by step.

Open the app

Open the link on your phone. You'll see the Ralli splash screen. Tap Open the app to get in.

Save the link to your home screen so it's always one tap away.

Tap "Create a game"

The home screen gives you two options. The organiser taps Create a game — everyone else just shows up and plays.

Join with a code is coming in a future update.

Pick your sport

Choose Padel or Tennis. Badminton and Squash are shown as Coming Soon — those are next.

Pick your format

Americano — rotating doubles. Partners change every round so everyone plays with everyone. Best for 6+ players.

Singles — 1v1 round robin. Everyone plays each other once. Great for smaller groups.

Choose how you score

Timed rounds — set a time (e.g. 10 mins), use the in-app countdown, play until it runs out.

Six serves — each player serves a fixed number of times. Play to that total then enter the score.

Set up your game

Courts — how many courts you're using. Ralli works out who's active and who sits out each round.

Round length — minutes per round (timed) or serves per player.

Scorekeeping — Casual or Umpire mode (see below).

Players — type in everyone's name. Tap + to add, × to remove.

The demo names are just examples. Tap × on each to clear them, then add your group's real names.

Play the round

Tap Generate draw & start and Ralli shows who's on which court for round 1.

In timed mode, tap Start to begin the countdown. When time's up you'll get a nudge to enter scores.

Use the ◀ ▶ arrows to move between rounds — the draw is already set, just follow Ralli's call.

Scoring modes

Casual vs Umpire.

Casual

  • Players keep score themselvesIn their heads as they play

Umpire mode

  • Tap every point liveSomeone taps a button as each point is scored

Results

Leaderboard and sharing.

Tap the Ranks tab at the bottom any time — even between rounds — to check the live standings.

Once all rounds are done, the final standings show the winner at the top with the full table below.

Tap the share icon (top right) to send a branded results card to your WhatsApp group — it generates automatically.

Tap any player's name to see their stats: points per round, wins and partnerships.
